Please Beware of COVID-19 Vaccine Fraud and Scams - Updated 02/16/2021
We have seen an increased rate of fraud and scams related to the COVID-19 vaccine rollout. Please be aware of fraud:
- If someone calls, texts, or emails you or a family member promising access to the vaccine for a fee, you should not share your personal or financial information.
- No one should ask you to pay to put your name on a list to get the vaccine.
- No one should ask you to pay to get early access to a vaccine.
You can report suspected fraud by calling the UMR Fraud line toll-free at 1-800-356-5803.

2021 STREET IMPROVEMENTS - Updated 12/01/2020
The City of Port Washington is seeking public input on proposed water, sewer, and street improvements in 2021. The public comment period is December 1 - 15, 2020. WINTER PARKING - Updated 11/30/2020
Just a reminder that on December 1, 2020, winter parking restrictions go into effect. The City of Port Washington snow ordinance states there is no parking on any street between the hours of 2:00 a.m. - 6:00 a.m. It does not matter if there is snow on the ground or not, but the Police Department does make exceptions on a nightly basis if you have overnight guests, a disabled vehicle, etc. If you are unsure as to where you can park your vehicle overnight, call the Port Washington Police Department at 262-284-2611 and they will help you find a solution.
2021 REVALUATION - Updated 11/19/2020
The City is undertaking a revaluation of all taxable properties for the tax year 2021. The purpose of the revaluation is not to raise taxes but rather to provide a fair distribution of the property tax burden based on the market value of each property. As the first visible step to citizens, the City Assessor, Associated Appraisal Consultants, Inc., has sent out Request to View Property Notice letters to all property owners in the City of Port Washington.
